ABOUT ME

Patrice Carey Hale writes YA romance and romance fantasy novels that feature banter, adventure, and all the good feelings leading up to a first kiss. She holds a BA in English and editing and is a member of the Hot Mess Writers Club, a critique group for YA and MG. She received Honorable Mention in the 2017 Utah Original Writing Competition for a new adult romance and was a finalist in the 2022 #PitchMe competition for a young adult romcom.

Patrice spent most of her life in Utah but currently lives in Georgia, where she enjoys frolicking with fireflies and wearing summer clothes ALL YEAR LONG. She's been to 22 countries and 37 states, she can talk your ear off about the current figure skating season, and she loves to spend exorbitant amounts of time outside. She's got a ridiculous husband to have ridiculously awesome adventures with, and they have a corgi named Watney.
